Homework Policy
Homework will be collected every morning. We have provided an agenda for each student to record their homework daily. It is the student’s responsibility to write their assignment in the agenda, pack up the work they owe, and hand it in each the morning. I will not be listing assignments on this website, but they will be listed on a daily calendar in the classroom and be utilizing a text based reminder system.
Here is the homework policy:
1. Homework and unfinished class work MUST be recorded in the agenda everyday. The student is responsible for his/her agenda and packing in his/her own bag!
2. Homework is due the next morning.
3. If you do not return your homework/class work when it is due, you will automatically lose free time and will complete it during that time.
4. Late homework will be graded out of 75%.5. Homework can be handed for 5 days after the due date. Nothing will be accepted after 5 days.6. If you are sick, that will not count against you.
Homework is your responsibility, not your parents or your teachers!
Correction Policy
Making corrections:
I give the students the opportunity to correct any homework. This is such a great opportunity to improve grades, practice more, and build responsibility so take advantage of it!
Check your mailboxes daily for returned work to be corrected. Please write "corrected" at the top, so we know that you made corrections.
I will sometimes ask the entire class to correct a test as a homework assignment.
This is a great opportunity to increase your grades so don’t let it pass you by!!!
Thanks for your cooperation!!!!
I hope this helps!
