    C Day 


    MARK YOUR CALENDARS…

    Any students looking for a summer job and want to be a lifeguard, please see Mrs. Scholeno. The Village of Lakewood is looking to sponsor students 16 years and older who want to become lifeguards. Anyone interested who goes for their lifeguarding certification and agrees to work for one full summer with the village will have their class paid for them. Again anyone interested please see Mrs. Scholeno for information

     

     

    Attention all girls in grades 6 through 8, registration is still open for Girls on the Run/Heart and Sole. If interested, see Miss Warner or Mrs  Freeman for more information. No running experience required! Practices start the Tuesday after spring break.  

     

     

    Juniors who are selling chicken BBQ tickets. Please turn in money, or any unsold tickets by this Friday 3/24. If you have already sold your tickets please hand in the money to Mr. Fales. If you are not selling them please hand in your unsold tickets asap. **Reminder, if you sell the most tickets you will win 2 FREE Prom tickets, and if you sell all 5 you will be entered to win 1 FREE Prom ticket.**

     

     

    Attention FBLA high school and middle-level members… there will be a meeting today after school in Mrs. Johnson’s room.

     

    Attention middle school! Come support our local animals while winning points for your grade! Pennies for Paws will run from March 16th through the 30th. Add pennies and dollars to your grade's penny tower in the lobby to gain points, and add silver coins to your opponent's towers to take points away. All money will be donated to the Chautauqua County Humane Society to support cats, dogs and other pets in our area. The winning grade will be announced after spring break, and earn battle points for their grade. Sixth, seventh or eighth, who will gain victory? Questions, see a Builder's Club member or Ms. Cooper in room 205.

     

     

    If you are interested in taking driver's education this summer, registration forms are available at the high school office. 

     

    The Spring Fling is tomorrow night. Tickets are $5 each. If you want to avoid a long line and do presale there will be tickets for sale in the lobby.

     

    SPORTS…. 

    The JV and varsity boys' basketball banquet will be held on Tuesday, 3/28 at 6:30pm at the Elks Lodge in Jamestown. There will be a dinner and an award ceremony.

    Happy birthday wishes for today go to Lillianna F., Lilah M., Logan M., and Bryant R. Weekend birthday shout outs go to Myra M. and John F.

  • Working Papers

    Students living in the Falconer School District may pick up an application for working papers from the High School Office between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Students must have had a physical in the past year to receive working papers. A parent signature is required.
