Mr. Penhollow

  • I hope you have had the opportunity to enjoy time with your children over this past summer. As we enter into this new school year, we hope to build on the many successes we had across the District last year, while continuing to build toward our new goals. Our teachers, administrators, and support staff started their school year on August 31st with three days of professional learning to kickstart the education of over 1,100 growing minds that will pass through our doors. I would also like to extend thanks to our buildings and grounds teams for their summer-long efforts. Our campuses look great and add an enthusiastic feeling that inspires us all to do our best in the classroom, stage, and athletic fields.

     

    We will continue to build on the success we developed through the use of instructional strategies that were implemented to keep our students engaged in their learning. We also introduced lessons designed to provide higher-level thinking skills and writing across the curriculum.  We will continue to use these strategies and expand upon them in this new year.

    Please take the time to view our website as well as continue to look in the coming months. We want the community to share in the school’s accomplishments and activities.     We certainly have a lot of work to do, but we are a great District with great teachers and great support.  Together, we will achieve great things. On behalf of the Board of Education, we wish the entire Falconer family an exciting and successful school year!
