Get Signed Up for Girls in Manufacturing!

The Girls in Manufacturing event is a one-day hands-on experience that encourages girls to consider careers in manufacturing. During the event, girls go through all stages of the manufacturing process and use equipment including mills, lathes, and CNC machines. During the day, participants are introduced to professional women in the area who work in manufacturing.

There is enormous interest in this program. Therefore, we have three locations and date options for attendees. Parents, grandparents, guardians, mentors, or teachers are encouraged to participate with the student(s) they sign up. Lunch will be provided. Students participating get to build a project and take it home with them. Participants also get a t-shirt. There is no cost to participate in this event!

Enroll Today in the Dream It Do It Advanced Manufacturing Program!

Please note that participants in the Girls in Manufacturing events enrolled in the Dream It Do It Advanced Manufacturing Program (DIDIAMP) can earn electronic badges for this event and qualify for cool prizes! We use a platform called Tallo to enable enrollment into the DIDIAMP. Once your student/child is in the program, they can start to build a talent profile to highlight their accomplishments, begin to explore career opportunities, earn electronic badges for participating in Dream It Do It programming, earn electronic badges for their studies in technology courses at their school, and by graduation time achieve one of four belt levels and connect with jobs, scholarships, and further training and education opportunities. To enroll, the student/child must be 13 years or older. If you want to enroll your student/child in the Dream It Do It Advanced Manufacturing Program, Click Here.
