Students in Mrs. Randazzo's class learned about the life and work of Tony Sarg, famous puppeteer and creator of the first balloons in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. After reading about the science behind the famous "floating puppets," students created their own balloons, writing a persuasive paragraph as to why each balloon would be a perfect choice for this year's parade.
