Orientation to College: Parent Edition
A special financial information session, will be hosted at four local schools in March. The program is coordinated by JCC. Parents seeking general financial aid information for the college their student plans to attend are encouraged to participate.
Parents of juniors and seniors in nearby school districts are welcome to attend the sessions at the host sites.
The sessions meet from 6-7 p.m. at:
- Portville High School, March 20, auditorium (hosting for Archbishop Walsh Academy and the Olean, Hinsdale, and Allegany-Limestone school districts).
- Dunkirk High School, March 21, high school cafeteria (hosting for Silver Creek, Pine Valley, Fredonia, Forestville, and Cassadaga school districts).
- Jamestown High School, March 26, high school auditorium (hosting for the Falconer, Frewsburg, Southwestern, Cassadaga, and Maple Grove school districts).
- Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School, March 28, auditorium (hosting for the Ellicottville, Franklinville, West Valley, Randolph, Salamanca, Gowanda, and Pioneer school districts).
Parents from other school districts are welcome to attend a session closest to their location.
Details about conducting a college search and admissions timelines will also be outlined during the program.
